iPhone assembler Foxconn factory reportedly assembles the next iPhone with Sapphire glass screen. The factory located in Shenzhen, China is now assembling the 100 prototype iPhone with Sapphire glass screen. Installation of a safety coating on the screen of this phone is not an easy affair. For Sapphire glass production, Apple relies on two suppliers, Synopsys and Bern Optic. Both companies also provide material for the rear camera and a fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 5S. Apple reportedly consumes 10 percent of global production Sapphire stone.
