Nokia win, HTC One Mini banned in the UK
Patent war between HTC and Nokia is one of the most interesting to see. After forcing to change the microphone and radio in HTC One devices, Nokia has won a key ruling that prohibits HTC Mini for sale in the UK, which became effective on December 6, 2013.

HTC sales still blocked at risk, but the judge in the case acknowledged that banning miniature model of “sufficient " cause harm to producers who already at risk of rapid decline in sales with it . Judges give time for HTC to appeal.

The HTC stated that the hardware components that are too small to justify the outright ban on HTC One. However, HTC still have to suspend imports to the UK until the second trial reached a conclusion.

Patents are likely to become an increasingly important revenue stream for Nokia after completing the sale of devices and services business to Microsoft.

The company previously detailed the future focus for Advanced Technologies Unit which handles patent license. Nokia said that the business unit will sign more agreements with companies that currently “no license", and begin licensing patents that they leave without a license, while they are running a business handset.
