All About SD Card
Secure Digital (SD) is a standard removable storage for mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras and many other devices. SD Card currently has the speed and capacity of different physical sizes as well as having three, namely:

1. SD Card has the original physical size with dimensions of 32x24mm. PCs generally have a full-size SD Card slot.
2. Mini SD Card has dimensions of 21.5x20mm and this type is very rarely used.
3. Last Micro SD Card, only 11x15mm dimensions so easily disappear if tucked into a pocket. These small cards are very popular and widely used, especially by Android devices.

Mini SD and Micro SD Cards are usually included with the adapter, so it can be used on a full-size SD slot.

In addition to the physical size, the SD card standard that defines classified by their maximum capacity, namely;
- Standard Capacity (SDSC) has a maximum capacity of 2GB.
- High Capacity (SDHC), a maximum of 32GB, and
- Extended Capacity (SDXC) has a maximum capacity of 2TB, but due to the capacity available in the market are now no more than 128GB.

There are also other variants which SDIO (Input / Output). This card can only function on the very specific and offer more than just the usual storage media. Card can be equipped with GPS, WI - Fi and other features for a particular device.

SD Card also has the speed classification is characterized by C (Speed Class ) with a number next to it , which represents how fast the card can write or read data . The code can also mean how fast the SD card can process the video stream. Lowest rating is C2 can handle only standard-definition video, while the fastest C10 is capable of handling full HD video.

Some high-end cards have a U mark is not C. This means a card type Ultra High Speed (UHS) and is intended for the particular device that supports the card types.
