WhatsApp Messenger Dominated Smartphone Chat Apps

WhatsApp Messenger Dominated Smartphone Chat Apps
WhatsApp Messenger
WhatsApp overtakes Facebook as leading mobile messaging service based on a recent survey conducted by OnDevice states that Facebook is no longer ruled the throne as a messenger sites are widely used. Now, the throne was taken by WhatsApp. Is this true? Yes, based on research that has been published OnDevice over the weekend, the results show that the feature of WhatsApp messenger is now being dominated in the Smartphone.

OnDevice conducted a survey and took place in five countries include the U.S., Brazil, South Africa, Indonesia and China. The results prove that 4,000 Smartphone users, 44 percent of Smartphone users are apparently using WhatsApp to keep in touch with friends. Meanwhile, the other 35 percent of Smartphone users are using Facebook Messenger. In conclusion, in November WhatsApp is indeed being dominated, but we should wait for this December, whether Facebook will shift back to the top or even WhatsApp will continue to survive.

On the other hand, BBM platform is now backing down to fifth position with 15 percent of users only. Maybe it is because BBM service on Smartphone is still relatively new. Fourth position achieved by We Chat with 28 percent and Twitter at 16 percent.

As is often the case with this survey, it is by no means conclusive. We should wait for other surveys so that we can compare the accuracy of the survey. Yes, we wait for further information.
