Biometric Smartphone Become Trend In 2014
At the end of 2014, new smartphone prediction by Ericsson, will come with biometric technologies such as fingerprint recognition hardware. If the prediction is correct, smartphone manufacturers will follow in the footsteps of Apple.

In September 2014, Apple released iPhone 5S which also includes a fingerprint reader with the goal of improving the safety and extends the functionality of Smartphone. The mobile phone manufacturers the possibility also follows in the footsteps of Apple with immediate planting of such technology to offer biometric Smartphone.

According to the latest research from Ericsson telecom network manufacturers, who conducted a survey of 100,000 respondents in more than 40 countries revealed, 74 percent of respondents said biometric believe Smartphone will become the mainstream product throughout 2014.

More than half of the respondents or 52 percent want to use their fingerprint, instead of a complex combination of alphanumeric consisting of letters, numbers and characters. They are interested in eye recognition technology to unlock the phone, only less than half of the respondents, or about 48 percent.

 Apple currently hogging Smartphone with fingerprint unlock via iPhone 5S. The presence of other mobile manufacturers next year is expected to create a more seamless way to unlock the device and secure the data. Another trend is mainly bringing-your-own-device (BYOD) or the use of personal mobile devices at the office according to Ericsson, the future will continue to experience growth.
