Bill Gates selects New CEO Candidates
Bill Gates has failed when running a business first. The richest man in the world was initially not able to make money. Gates first company, Traf-O-Data, a total failure. But Gates and his partner, Paul Allen, do not give up. Traf-O-Data actually is the key to Microsoft's initial formation.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates, reportedly began to select new candidates Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Microsoft. Position previously occupied by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who resigned last August. Gates and Ballmer together develop Microsoft for 33 years.

Gates delivered the particulars of the selection to the Bloomberg website, shortly after a meeting held by the shareholders of Microsoft in Washington, Tuesday, November 19, 2013. “Finding a replacement Ballmer is very complicated, " he said.

But he declined to say when exactly the time of the appointment of a new CEO.

Not forgetting Gates also expressed gratitude for the role Ballmer of Microsoft. “We are committed to ensuring that the new CEO should be the right person and it was decided at the right time, " said Gates.

The remaining candidates reportedly now live of three of five men. CEO appointment decision is planned next month, although the time has not been established.

The two names mentioned as candidates, former Microsoft CEO Ford Motor CEO Alan Mulally and former Nokia boss Stephen Elop. Because Microsoft has just made the transition to the business, chances are they will appoint leaders from outside the company.

Sources at Microsoft said three of the candidates came from the company’s internal business divisions, namely Tony Bates and Satya Nadella. Both develop enterprise business and cloud or cloud computing systems. Other internal candidates are Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner. But Gates declined to comment about the names of the candidates who have already appeared.

U.S. technology giant is experiencing its biggest transition in the last 10 years. They were forced to seek a new leader when the company is doing business adoption of business software to the hardware. As is known, Microsoft acquired Finnish mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia, last September.
