YouTube has announced it will demonstrate high-definition video streams at CES 2014 this January. It is getting easier with the latest video codec Google VP9.

This new format gives the advantage to Youtube and other streaming video sites because with these new codec allow them streaming high-definition content, the quality of 4K streams, without slowing down your network connection. The most tasteless effect is much reduced buffer time when watching online videos.

Google is working hard to ensure all parties and VP9 adopted their partner demos at CES, including Panasonic, LG and Sony demonstrates Stream High-def 4K on their television. We also show list party colleague, software and hardware, to support early VP9. This includes ARM, Broadcom, Samsung, Nvidia, Mozilla, Qualcomm, Marvell, and Toshiba.
