TP-Link Archer C7: Features Complete, Satisfactory Performance

TP-Link Archer C7 slightly different networking products derived from TP - Link, which is known as a seller of networking products that not too many frills but have good enough hardware performance. The first difference is the change in the name of the router.  Archer C7 is the right choice of the name, because it makes it easier to remember.

Form TP-Link router previously seen boring, because it always uses a white plastic material with a rectangular shape so it was back during the 2002’s beginning to change with the advent of Archer C7. The router uses a glossy black finish with three gigantic antennas. Although Archer C7 cannot be considered as the most attractive router, but this is a good step for the TP - Link.

In addition to the TP- Link is very aggressive offer products at affordable prices, but not stingy with the features offered. The most important new additions in Archer C7 are support for 802.11ac wireless communication, with three external antennas that provide coverage of 802.11n 2.4 GHz and 5GHz wireless band.

The rear as usual is a place for gigabit Ethernet ports and one WAN port for connecting to a modem, as well as two USB 2.0 ports

Software interfaces appear more modest than some other routers filled with shades of graphics. There is only a green header and two column menu, but did not at all important features are forgotten. Software filled with various settings and menus will likely be a little bit confusing inexperienced users.

While Archer C7’s performance is quite good, even better than some routers competitors with equivalent prices. Using 11ac, the router is able to provide the speed of 505Mb / s to melee range and 486 Mb / s for longer distances up to 10 feet. However, the performance of 802.11n at 2.4GHz is not too impressive; just reach 110MB / s for a short distance and 89Mb / s for long distances.

TP - Link wireless Archer C7 has a pretty good performance because it has features quite complete so worth having, especially for those of you who do not want to waste time soon feel yourself speed 802.11ac.
