First Nokia Android Smartphone

First Nokia Android Smartphone
Nokia has developed its own Android phone. Normandy nicknamed and known internally at Nokia with a number of other names, the handset is designed as a next step for low-end phones from Nokia. Nokia has been testing Normandy with a special variant of Android that are not aligned with Google's version, similar to what is done with Amazon's line of Kindle Fire.

Nokia Normandy was revealed in November by twitter account @evleaks, which shows the Lumia stylish without clear capacitive buttons for navigation.

According to The Verge, Normandy support Android applications such as Skype and other popular applications. Nokia has developed an Android phone though Microsoft has no plans to acquire the company’s handset business.

It is unclear whether Nokia will release the handset before the Microsoft deal is completed, or whether Microsoft will continue to plan the device.

Several sources have told, Normandy is designed to encourage equal Nokia Asha cheap device with access to more traditional Smartphone applications - something that the company fought for line Asha Series 40. Nokia’s effort is similar to the use of Android by Amazon, which allows companies to fully customize for your own use.

Nokia employees who worked for Normandy was told the device was planned for release in 2014. Unless Nokia successfully released the Normandy ahead of the deal with Microsoft, we cannot imagine Microsoft would be interested in using Android to target the low-end than its own Windows Phone operating system.
