Before Apple, Intel had already been Make iPad
Intel Web Tablet
Currently iPad tablet PC is already very well known. But before that, Intel was also already made similar products with the same name, IPAD.

Intel Pad, or commonly referred to as the IPAD could be the pioneer of the tablet PC. The products were made in the late 1990s to the early 2000s, in the midst of the PC industry that is in peak times.

Intel made the iPad so that mobile users can work together, but it looks like the definition of mobile is different to the current understanding.

Due to using the IPAD users must first connect it to a computer via wireless network. Coverage is not too far away, similar to the Wifi signal. After that you are free to work within a certain radius.

As a tablet for business, IPAD also equipped with a touch screen and stylus. But not mentioned in the product spec details.

“Now we see that all had a touch screen tablet. We can only imagine and say, that we have done a tremendous breakthrough," said Ed Arrington, an Intel engineer who developed the IPAD, as quoted from Cnet, Friday (6/12 / 2013).

Arrington and two of his colleagues, is a small team of trusted Intel to develop IPAD. However, after the product was launched officially has a name Intel Web Tablet.

For no apparent reason, IPAD production finally stopped. Some say that Intel deliberately do it because of pressure from their partners, they are afraid of the future will actually kill the tablet computer industry that was then being fertile.

Whatever the reason, it is clear now tablets have started to dominate. Even a compact research institute predicts that sales of tablet PCs and notebooks will shift in the near future.
