Windows is an operating system optimized for x86 -based processor, while Android is designed to run optimally on ARM -based processors. Well, in the event the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014, Intel brings the technology that allows both the street side by side in a single chip.

Carrying the designation Intel Dual OS, although both operating systems are optimized for different processor architecture, Intel promises that the future will be possible only by relying on a single processor chip.

So to switch between Windows and Android, the future users only need to press a button. This concept is already used by first passing Asus Transformer Book Trio, but Asus uses two processors and two different hard drives that handle each operating system.

Unfortunately so far not explained how Intel would allow it. However, with the introduction of Intel Dual OS platform, it is not likely that Intel will again bring a new standard for the notebook, just as he had done through the Ultrabook platform. We'll wait!
